Beneath your feet lie untold riches, so why not go digging for them? In Roblox’s Mining Simulator, you will excavate treasures and invest them in better gear so you can go deeper and grab even more items! You will be able to find precious fossils, ores and buried chests, or raise a pet – how far down can you get?
Your mining career begins at a town outside the dig site, where you will find a shop and a blacksmith, who will buy whatever you excavate. Start by talking to Miner Mike, who will give you your first quest.
Equip your wooden pickaxe and start digging at the top layer of blocks. Up here, each dirt block contains two dirt, which are each worth one coin. Remember that your backpack can only hold ten items to begin with.
Sell the dirt and visit the shop to buy a tool that digs faster or a backpack that holds more, then return to the dig site to dig deeper. The deeper you dig, the rarer the items you will find, which will allow you to upgrade your items even more.
Quick Tips
Cut It Short
When your backpack is full, use the shortcut to teleport directly to the shop, then use the shortcut to return to the surface to get back to the dig site. That will save you time trekking between the two and will also increase your money faster.
Shock and Ore
Chests immediately reward you with coins, so they do not clog up your backpack. Precious blocks like fossils, pezzottaite and gold take longer to mine, but they can then be sold for even greater rewards, so it is worth it.
Deep Friendship
Follow Miner Mike’s quests and he will give you an ominous egg. Equip it and go about your mining business and it will eventually break open. The hatched pet will boost your abilities and you can evolve it to raise its benefits further.
Comeback King
Rebirthing yourself means starting all over again. You will lose your coins, tools and backpacks, but everything you mine will be doubled in value! All is not lost though – you will keep any pets and cosmetic items.
Fast Fact
When he started out in the Roblox creation community as a builder, ObscureEntity was nervous about scripting, assuming that it would be too hard for him. It took him three years to realise that he could script himself and once he finally started, he was hooked!
